My name is Sílvia Sousa and I am a fashion stylist based in Berlin, with over a decade of experience working across commercial, editorial, and personal styling. I’m originally from Portugal where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Fashion Design.
My background spans e-commerce, advertising, and editorial work with clients including Zalando, Amazon, and Scholz & Friends, and publications like Vogue Italia. I have worked with clients ranging from corporate and lifestyle to fashion and beauty brands. In addition to my work as a fashion and personal stylist I also work as an Art Director, Costume Designer and Visual Merchandiser.
What I enjoy most about my work as a commercial stylist is to translate the client’s vision into clothing and outfits that help create a cohesive narrative. I enjoy collaborating on set and brainstorming with directors, photographers and make-up artists. I believe in the power of team work and I value a culture of open and honest feedback. My creativity is a tool at the service of the client and the project, and my ultimate goal is to solve those needs.
Personal styling is a different kind of work, but it is a natural evolution of my work as a stylist. It provides me with a different kind of challenge — more intimate and deep. I get to develop a close relationship with the clients by slowing down and working step by step towards a more intentional wardrobe. My approach is based on sustainability and mindful consumption. We always start with what you already own and work to fill the gaps strategically. What I enjoy most is helping someone see their wardrobe with fresh eyes, cutting through the overwhelm, and finding what genuinely works for their life. My job is not to impose an aesthetic, tell you what’s in or out in fashion, but listen to your needs and help you find your way, guided by a trained eye.
I work in person in Berlin, and online with clients worldwide. Sessions and projects are available in English, German, and Portuguese.
